SEC.02
How a job runs
Five steps. Documented. Repeatable.
Same process on a two-storey semi as on a hospital wing. The paperwork scales — the discipline doesn't.
STEP 01 · 48-hour turnaround
Site visit
A foreman walks the site with you. Access routes, ground bearing, tie-in points, footpath licence, neighbouring properties. Photos, measurements, notes — nothing quoted blind.
Deliverables
- Access notes
- Photo record
- Permit list
STEP 02 · TG20 or bespoke drawing
Design & written quote
Standard configurations run against TG20:21. Anything outside the compliance envelope goes to our partner design engineer for calculated drawings and load statements.
Deliverables
- Fixed-price quote
- Rig drawing
- RAMS pack
STEP 03 · 1–5 days typical
Erect
Our own crew — no subbed labour. Tubes, boards, fittings from our yard. Scaff-tag issued on handover. Photo record of every lift emailed to you the same day.
Deliverables
- Scaff-tag (green)
- Handover photos
- Sign-off sheet
STEP 04 · Every 7 days on hire
Weekly inspection
For any rig on hire beyond 7 days, an SG28 inspection is completed and the scaff-tag re-issued. Missing boards, loose couplers, weather damage — logged and remedied.
Deliverables
- SG28 report
- Updated tag
- Remedial log
STEP 05 · Pre-booked collection
Strike & sign-off
Booked at least 48 hours ahead so we can programme it in. Site left swept, ground protected, photo record delivered. Invoice closed same week.
Deliverables
- Clean site
- Photo close-out
- Final invoice
